When I bought the sod it wasn't green but it is really early in the season. I had them install the sod and afterwords it looked great. They were really fast. 2 hours for 2100 sqft. The info about the watering and stuff was very helpful. I will buy from them again.

After a disagreement on the sod I ordered in advance was settled the pallet was loaded into my truck. It is beautiful sod. I laid it down myself and because the rolls were cut properly it all fit together very nicely. I highly recommend this sod and the Peterson family farm where I picked it up,

Couldn't have been happier with Sod King! They were dealing with a sod shortage at the time I ordered and despite that shortage they worked with me to get what I needed when I needed it. The installation crew came in and got things done quickly and perfectly. I’ve only had the grass a short time, but so far it’s stayed green, think, and healthy. Soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing a lawn. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil.
